A small Mississippi press with a love of the land, its traditions, and a story told well.
Tilda Bogue Publishing is an independent press rooted in central Mississippi. We take our name from Tilda Bogue, a Mississippi creek whose Choctaw name is said to mean "palmetto creek" — a fitting home for books about the people, the water, and the wild places of the South.
We publish what we love: Southern sporting fiction and outdoor memoir. Our shelf began with Allison Crews's foxhunting novels and Jim Crews's duck-hunting memoirs, and we're glad to make room for new authors whose stories belong in good company.
Allison Crews writes the foxhunting novels Antithesis, Impasse, and Nemesis — captivating tales of passion and principle in the deep South. Read more & shop her books.
Jim Crews writes the outdoor memoirs Amid the Cypress and Behind the Levee — five decades of hunting and fishing the Mississippi Delta and beyond. Read more & shop his books.
When you buy from us, your copy is inscribed by hand and shipped from the farm. Want it made out to a friend, a daddy, a new bride, or a fellow hunter?
